İDA
İDA (Communication Consultancy Companies Association) was established by 11 communication consultancies company whose aims are to develop, to widen and to rise up service standards of public relations and consultancy communication sector.
It realized first general committee in 6 September 2004 and officially exceeded activity. İDA’s founders are Bersay Communications Consultancy, BG Communication, Effect Public Relations, Excel Communication Consultancy/Hill Knowlton, Global Communications Consultancy, Grup 7 Communication Consultancy, MPR Marketing Public Relations, N’PR Communication Consultancy, Tribeca Communications Consultancy, Zarakol Public Relations. The number of the members of IDA has beeen reached to 16 with joining the BPM LOOK and MEDYAEVI in 2006 and ON Iletişim and Saydam PR in 2008, ZEGO Communications and UNITE Communications in 2009.
İDA is the ICCO’s, International Communication Consultancy Union, Turkey representative. Londra centered ICCO, was established in 1986 and represents working more than 25.000 PR professions and 1000 consultancies in 29 countries all over the world.
ICCO’s main aims are to protect the business’s ethical standards and to provide help for public relations industry on their development. Members have 400 workers totally. And the mission of İDA is to enhance the professional reputation of public relations consultancies in Turkey, to advocate and guide the practice of international professional management standards, to increase the overall volume of public relations activities, to support the recruitment of competent professionals through training programs and to represent Turkish public relations industry in international platforms.
Instead of other foundations in the sector, judicial person can be the member of İDA. For İDA, ethical principles should be dominant in the sector and all member companies should regard İDA Trade Ethical Principles.
It, targeted more based formation by rising up it’s member companies number, cooperation with academic environment, all existing and future sectorial foundations which shares same principles with İDA.
