MİCHAEL B. GOODMAN
Michael B. Goodman, Ph.D., is Professor and Former Director of the Graduate Programs in Corporate and Organizational Communication at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Founder and Director of the Corporate Communication Institute, and an Adjunct Professor at Baruch College where he teaches graduate classes in Corporate Communication and Investor Relations.
Professor Goodman received his BA from the University of Texas at Austin, and his MA and Ph.D. from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He is Visiting Professor of Corporate Communication at Aarhrus School of Business (Denmark), Bangkok University, and Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Before coming to Fairleigh Dickinson University, he directed the graduate and undergraduate business communication programs at Northeastern University in Boston, and he has taught business communication courses at New York University, New York Institute of Technology, University of Alaska Fairbanks, and SUNY at Stony Brook. He is the founder and director of the Conference on Corporate Communication, and founder of the Corporate Communication Institute.

He has edited a Special Issue of theJournal of Business Strategyon“The Role of Business in Public Diplomacy.” He is at work on“Corporate Communication”and“While You Were Looking the Other Way—Forces Redefining Corporate Communication Strategy.” He is on the Editorial Advisory Board and Associate Editor for North America ofCorporate Communication (UK),and for ten years was Associate Editor for Corporate and Organizational Communication of the IEEE Transactions on Professional Communication. He has presented numerous scholarly papers at international conferences.
He is a member of the Arthur W. Page Society; a Fellow of the RSA (The Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce), London; a Fellow of The Society for Technical Communication. He is VP Eastern Region and Member of the Board of Directors of the Association for Business Communication. He is an Advisory Board Member of Business for Diplomatic Action, as well as a member of the PR Coalition, a partnership of 22 major organizations representing corporate public relations, investor relations, public affairs, and related communication disciplines.
He has been a consultant to more than 40 corporations and institutions on corporate communication, managerial communication, problem-solving, new business proposals, change, and corporate culture.
